Berko and Beyond

Podcast logo

This project called for a logo and cover art for a podcast made by and for the people of Berkhamsted, a show that celebrates the town's everyday life, and the people who live and work there.

The brief was clear on two fronts: the design needed to read as a podcast, and it needed to feel unmistakably local.

The result was to weave together a subtle audio cue with the Grand Union Canal and castle walls, and colours inspired by narrowboat signwriting, to give a genuine feeling of Berkhamsted itself, and make it feel like it belongs to the town.
