I love animals so I was really pleased to be recommended to Friars Moor Vets by one of my clients. A busy and growing veterinary group based in Dorset looking for a complete rebrand: a fresh look to their logo and a more structured and up-to-date feel to their ever expanding website.
TinCat, together with Jon Ralls from wwwolf (who would be doing the web development) spent a couple of days visiting all three locations and getting to know the team to find out a bit more about them: what makes them tick, what they liked and disliked about their current logo and site, their vision for the future of Friars Moor, amongst other things.
Armed with this information TinCat created three initial logo ideas from which they chose one, which was then adapted for the farm and veterinary departments.
With the logo, colour palette, fonts and a visual identity all agreed TinCat then set to work on the website – a huge task of organising the vast amount of information they already had and making it visually appealing as well as easy to navigate. I spent a lot of time refining the site map layout (an essential starting point for any website) before working on the design and finally with Jon on the development.
The whole team seems pleased with the results, and we are now working on a related sheep and goat consultancy site.
